Class - Ranunculus SPRING SUMMER 2026

Looking for a pullover that can be whatever you want to make it? The Ranunculus is your dream! This sweater, designed for the yoke to look like stacks of necklaces, can be as light and airy, or as sturdy and structured as you wish, depending on what kind of yarn you choose to create it with. If you opt for a lace weight yarn, you’ll be rocking a light, sheer, airy sweater perfect for a summer night. If you opt for a worsted weight yarn, you’ll have a sturdy, warm sweater worthy of a Wisconsin winter! The joy of this sweater comes from adapting it to your liking!

SKILLS NEEDED: Provisional Cast On, Double Twist Loop Cast On, Knitting in the Round, Increasing, Decreasing

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE CLASS: 

• PATTERN: Ranunculus by Midori Hirose

• YARN: Any weight from lace to worsted; enough for your size
• NEEDLES: US 10 circular (main), US 8 circular (hem and sleeve)
• OTHER TOOLS: Crochet hook (for smaller neckline), 5 stitch markers (one different than the others), tapestry needle, waste yarn or barber cord,
