Granny Square Summer! Come to this 4 session monthly class to learn all about this amazing motif! Our first class will cover how to make a granny square. The second class we’ll continue working on our squares, the third class we’ll learn how to assemble and join your squares together, and the final class will be another opportunity to work on your project and we’ll also have a show and tell.

Whether you only wish to make one as a coaster or make more to create blankets, accessories, and even garments, Lisa will walk you through all the important steps from beginning with a magic ring, choosing colors, and assembling, and seaming. Class size limited to 8 adults.

Making the Squares // Saturday, July 20 // 12pm - 3pm
Working on the Squares // Saturday, August 17 // 12pm - 3pm
Seaming the Squares // Saturday, September 14 // 12pm - 3pm
Show & Tell // Saturday TBD // 12pm - 3pm

COST: $ 95, plus the cost of supplies. All class supplies purchased at Cream City Yarn qualify for a 10% discount.

SUPPLIES TO PURCHASE:
YARN and HOOK:
Bulky weight yarn in various colors and a J or K hook
Worsted weight yarn and a G or H hook
Fingering weight yarn and an E hook
NOTIONS: tape measure, darning needle, scissors
PATTERN: Basic Granny Square pattern provided, you pick the project to create!

Classes and workshops require a minimum of 3 students. An emailed notification of cancellation will be sent 3 days before the class if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellations, all registered students will be refunded the class registration fee. A refund of the class registration fee will be issued if you cancel 14 days prior to class start date. Student cancellations, missed classes, or no-shows cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred. All classes require an up-to-date Covid-19 vaccination to participate.
