Looking for a perfect gift to give to your Bucks-loving friends and family? Look no further than this fun, intermediate beginner colorwork pattern! In this class, we’ll learn how to create the perfect Bucks Mittens, utilize stranded colorwork, discuss catching floats, and reading colorwork charts. Put in a little work between classes and you’ll walk away with a completed set of mittens!
SKILLS NEEDED: Knitting small circumference in the round, reading basic two color charts
CLASS DATES: Saturdays November 9, 23, December 7 12:30-2:30 pm
TEACHER: Lauren
COST: $60, plus the cost of supplies. Supplies purchased at Cream City Yarn for this class qualify for a 10% discount.
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE CLASS:
- PATTERN: Buck designed by Faye Kennington (purchase and print prior to class)
- YARN: Two colors (Main Color and Contrast Color) of a sport weight yarn. These can be MKE Bucks colors, but they don’t HAVE to be!
- NEEDLES: US 1.5 (2.5mm) double pointed needles or 32” circulars for magic loop (or needle size to obtain gauge)
- OTHER TOOLS: Scrap yarn or barber cord to hold thumb stitches, 2 stitch markers, removable stitch marker (optional)
