Ready to jump into some basic lace while also knitting up a quick and easy last-minute gift? Your wish is my command with the Birthday Wish Scarf from the mind of Julie Peng. If you’ve knit 20 Sophie Scarves and are ready to add a little more interest to your standard scarf, this design adds a subtle lace detail to the same idea. It takes almost no time (I knit it on the train ride from Anchorage to Fairbanks, Alaska after I bought some qiviut yarn that I couldn’t resist casting on!) In a two-session class with two weeks to work between sessions, you may have a lovely holiday gift for a loved one!
SKILLS NEEDED: Beginning knitting skills, increase (M1L, M1R), Yarn Over

- NEEDLES: US 2 in 24” circumference or straight
