Fall classes are live!
Cream City Yarn is committed to our local fiber community by scheduling regular classes and hosting events that promote the art of knitting and crochet. We offer classes that meet over several weeks or just for a few hours, depending on the subject matter or project. The class schedule is designed to give knitters and crocheters multiple options that will work for their skill level and availability.
Cream City Yarn has introductory beginner classes, project classes and reference classes, as well as private lessons.
Cream City Yarn has Novice Knitting classes. These classes give new and returning students the skills needed for beginning knitting projects.
Cream City Yarn offers a variety of project classes. From sweaters to shawls to socks, a project class will enable you to complete a project with guidance while learning new skills and techniques.
With a variety of online opportunities, Cream City Yarn offers scheduling flexibility and convenience for today’s busy fiber artist. Our E- Classes are a new series of class which provide learning material online and can be accessed at a time and pace that is convenient for each student. Reference classes are important for all knitters, both beginner and experienced. From “Fixing your Mistakes” to “One Knit Wonders”, Cream City Yarn offers an assortment of reference classes for all knitters.
Private lessons are the perfect way to get one-on-one help with a new technique, a tough spot in a pattern or just to get back on track. Lessons priced per hour, but may be broken into one half-hour increments and scheduled with someone from our teaching staff. Simply call the shop if you are interested in arranging private lessons.
If you are interested in crochet technique, Cream City Yarn will happily arrange one-on-one time for you with one of our experienced crochet teachers. Simply contact the shop and we will arrange the lesson at an agreeable date and time.
