Class- Fixing Knitting Mistakes 2024

This is a great class for novice Knitters! You will learn how to pick up dropped stitches, rip back several rows and get your stitches back the needles, identify mistakes that matter and those that don’t, and the basics of reading your knitting. Pre-class homework is required (see below).

SUPPLIES TO PURCHASE BEFORE CLASS BEGINS:

YARN:
1 skein Berroco Ultra Wool (worsted weight yarn) in white or cream

NEEDLES & NOTIONS:
US 7 / 4.50 mm - 24” circular needle
hard ruler (6” length)
US G Crochet Hook
Double Pointed Needle
Nancy Bates Handi Tool or CocoKnits Stitch Fixer

PRE-CLASS HOMEWORK:

• Cast on 24 stitches using long tail cast on.
• Work in stockinette stitch for 3 inches (knit one row, purl one row, repeat)
• Don’t bind off your swatch but leave on needles and bring to class

Classes and workshops require a minimum of 3 students. An emailed notification of cancellation will be sent 3 days before the class if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellations, all registered students will be refunded the class registration fee. A refund of the class registration fee will be issued if you cancel 14 days prior to class start date. Student cancellations, missed classes, or no-shows cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred. All classes require an up-to-date Covid-19 vaccination to participate.
