Class-Cable Hat WINTER 2026

$65.00
Availability: In stock

Learn to knit this classic cabled beanie made for gatherings around campfires, weekend hikes, and winter outings. It’s the perfect project to learn how to knit a variety of cables and how to read cable charts. This hat is made with a deep, squishy fold-over brim, the cables flow naturally from the brim ribbing and decrease away seamlessly into the crown.

Teacher note: there will be homework before the class. It’s fun homework! You’ll need to cast-on and work on the ribbing so we can get started on learning to read the chart. More information will be emailed to you before the start of class.

SKILLS NEEDED: casting on, knitting, purling, knitting in the round, decreasing, binding off

SKILLS LEARNED: how to read cable charts, tips for simplifying cable charts, how to knit different cable stitches, how to use a cable needle
