Class- Weekender Sweater Class Fall 2023

DESCRIPTION: The Weekender Sweater is an iconic knitting pattern designed by Andrea Mowry, and if you haven’t yet knit it, now is your chance! She combined her favorite attributes - texture, faux seams, drop shoulder, and some positive ease to create this versatile, flattering sweater! No matter your body type, it is perfect for wearing to the office or on the weekends running errands or shopping at the yarn shop!

SKILLS NEEDED PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT: knitting, purling, casting on and binding off, reading patterns, and working in the round.

CLASS DATES: 4 Saturdays // 2pm - 4pm
November 4, December 2, January 6, January 20

COST: $ 95, plus class supplies listed below. All supplies purchased at CCY for this class qualify for a 10% discount.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE CLASS:

YARN: Worsted Weight Yarn (please refer to pattern to determine quantities)

NEEDLES:
Suggested needle sizes: US 7 circular needle (for tubular cast on), US 8 circular needle (for ribbing) & US 9 circular needle (for main body). However, please use the size necessary to achieve gauge.

NOTIONS:
stitch markers, tapestry needle, tape measure, pencil and paper for notes.

HOMEWORK: Please complete a gauge swatch in the round prior to class. Swatching instructions are available in the shop if further help is needed.
