Class- Sweater Hug Class Fall 2023

CLASS DETAILS:

‘Sweater hug’ is a sweater to be made in the squishiest, plump, DK weight yarn you just want to be cocooned in. It’s a sweater that will hug you on darker days, warm you on colder days and comfort you no matter what. Drop shoulder construction worked from the top down, makes this pattern great from beginner sweater knitters! Sizes range from 34” to 66”
Plus, it’s a “snuggle up with wooly socks and hot tea” sort of sweater.

SKILLS NEEDED PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT: knitting, purling, casting on and binding off, reading patterns, and working in the round.

COST: $ 95, plus class supplies listed below. All supplies purchased at CCY for this class qualify for a 10% discount.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE CLASS:

YARN: DK Weight Yarn (Harrisville Nightshades or Daylights, LBA Wensley or Corrie Worsted, Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok, West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece, Wooldreamers Mota)

NEEDLES & NOTIONS: US 6 circular needle & US 8 circular needle (or a size needed to meet gauge), stitch markers, tapestry needle, tape measure, pencil and paper for notes.

HOMEWORK: Please complete a gauge swatch in the round prior to class. Swatching instructions are available in the shop if further help is needed.
