Class Spring Summer 2022 Crochet Market Bag

*all students will be required to wear a mask and be fully vaccinated against covid to participate*

In this class with Katie, you’ll learn how to make this crochet bag for trips to the farmers market or simply holding your yarn. The Day at the Market Bag is worked from the bottom-up in the round and has a delightful texture that is surprisingly easy to create.  

SKILLS NEEDED:  experience crocheting: single & double crochet, slip stitches.

SKILLS LEARNED: front post treble crochet, invisible fastening off, joining in the round

CLASS DATES:  Tuesdays PM // 6:00pm - 8:00pm // May 17, 24, 31

COST: $ 60, plus the cost of supplies. Class size limited to 6 adults. 

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE CLASS: 

YARN:

• 450 yards of worsted weight yarn in a cotton or cotton blend. Sample made with Blue Sky Fibers Sweater. 

HOOK & NOTIONS:

• H/8 (5.00mm) and I/9 (5.50mm) crochet hooks
• scissors, tapestry needle, tape measure/ruler & stitch markers
