SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
There is something special about handmade socks! Andy will teach you tips and tricks for making your own handmade socks whether it's by marling two strands of fingering weight yarn together, basic cuff down or toe up sock construction, using fun textures, and getting a good fit. Each month features a different pattern and a new technique to stock you sock drawer to the brim this year!
SKILLS NEEDED:
knitting, purling, decreasing, basic experience with small circumference knitting (magic loop)
SKILLS LEARNED:
pattern reading, knitting a heel, picking up stitches, kitchener stitch, sock care, weaving in ends
