Class-Fair Isle Friday Fall 2022

Want to learn more about Fair Isle knitting? Each monthly in-person session will give you the opportunity to participate in Knit-a-long (KAL) in a friendly and casual space to ask questions, show off what you’ve knit, and chat with fellow knitters. This session we will focus on color blending, float catching, tension and chart reading.
SKILLS NEEDED: knitting, purling, working in the round, & interest in Fair Isle colorwork
SKILLS LEARNED: stranded colorwork, color blending, chart reading, tension and gauge.
Once per month in person class on Fridays // 4pm - 6pm

Bonus Virtual Meetings for help and camaraderie* // 4pm - 5pm

COST: $ 80, plus the cost of supplies for this class.
SUPPLIES NEED FOR THIS CLASS:
- Yarn: Jamieson & Smith Yarn - 2 to 7 colors of your choice
- Needles & Notions: US 3 needles in your choice of needle
- Pattern: “Darling Pincushion: A Color Study” by Mary Jane Mucklestone will be used in the first meeting to work on color blending.
